History

In 2009, Stratostaff (Pty)Ltd was granted the Adecco Brand Licence for Southern African countries.

We were as a matter of fact “Born a giant”.

By offering local management to drive the future expansion of its Brand in this part of Africa, Adecco world gives its customer the opportunity to access world class services, whilst embracing truly African specificities. Challenges like transformation and black economic empowerment cannot be driven without an in-depth knowledge of what Africa is really about.

Hence after buying the Technihire Group in September 1991, the Adecco Group is now giving its local operations the wings needed to face the challenges of the future.

Technihire was founded in 1969, and grew over the years through acquisition and mergers, until it was ultimately listed on the JSE in 1988.

Number one in Debt Collection (ACB), employment services (Draftrite, Draftcraft, Project Personnel, etc), and active in various other domains of expertise, the Group has focussed over the last ten years to become a leader in South Africa under the Adecco Brand.

Today, as a founding member of CAPES (Confederation of Associations of Private Employment Services), we are a respected member of the management committee of CAPES, and our clients and associates have supported us in such a way that we rank number seven in the market place.
